Inside LANDMARK by Lexus

LANDMARK by Lexus is where craftsmanship meets luxury. An iconic 'landmark' of the Flemington Racecourse, the three-level bespoke hospitality pavilion is the embodiment of Lexus luxury. Each year, the luxury pavilion is brought to life by an ensemble of visionary creatives across design, culinary and lifestyle disciplines. This year, Lexus and its appointed creative collaborators bring A New Dawn to the Flemington Racecourse Birdcage Enclosure.

The Making of LANDMARK

Last year, Lexus unveiled a redesigned LANDMARK by Lexus pavilion. Comprising three floors, the new architectural foundation enhances the connection between each level and entices collaborators to blur the bounds for a unified sense of omotenashi.

Responding to this year's theme, Hecker Guthrie will bring A New Dawn to life by creating a space that represents optimism and joy, utilising sustainable materials, pops of golden ash colour and natural pine timber.

2025 Finalist in Australian Interior Design Awards

LANDMARK by Lexus has been named a finalist in the Installation Design category of the Australian Interior Design Awards for its 2025 collaboration with Melbourne-based designer Brahman Perera and hospitality partner The Big Group, with hospitality concept and experience by Steffanie D'Alberto.

Conceived for the 2025 Melbourne Cup Carnival, and showcased as part of the Lexus Melbourne Cup, the pavilion explored the theme of 'Synthesis', a merging of traditional craftsmanship and future technology expressed through a layered architectural journey defined by colour, materiality and atmosphere shift.

The History of LANDMARK

Established for over 13 years with what began as the Lexus Design Pavilion, LANDMARK by Lexus is a striking feature of the Flemington landscape.

Formally reimagined in 2019, LANDMARK by Lexus embodies a new era where visionaries from diverse disciplines converge to craft an immersive experience in personalised luxury.

Its name, drawn from its iconic presence on the Flemington Racecourse map, reflects its status as a symbol of innovation, while the omotenashi experience is the manifestation of Lexus as a brand.
