INTERIOR

The prime information resource in the LS 600hL is the eight inch LCD touchscreen display, located in the centre console. FOr simple navigation, every function on the graphical user interface is no more than three clicks away from the main menu. The information resource includes a DVD-based Satellite Navigation system^TM with voice prompts and points of interest. Whenever reverse gear is engaged, images from the Rear View Camera, and parking reference lines are displayed on the LCD screen*.

The LS 600hL's instrument panel is a full-colour, thin-film transistor LCD screen for unparalleled clarity during day and night driving. Its design brings to mind the Lexus LFA and features a three-ring analogue dial with central speedometer, tachometer and coolant temperature gauge to the left, with fuel gauge and a hybrid system indicator to the right. The display in the centre of the speedometer can be customised to show vehicle information, turn-by-turn navigation instructions and hybrid system status.

Rear seat passengers can enjoy DVD movies and entertainment on the nine inch drop-down LCD screen, accompanied by Mark Levinson surround sound. DVDs can also be played on the centre console LCD screen when the vehicle is stationary. The four seat version of the LS 600hL includes reclining rear seats. The rear left ottoman seat includes a rejuvenating inbuilt massage system.

Two Energy Monitors indicate which mode you're operating in - one on the instrument panel, and another on the LCD screen. The Energy Monitors also inform you when the Regenerative Braking system is recharging the battery.

For hands-free communication, the LS 600hL includes Bluetooth^TM mobile phone connectivity, which allows you to make phone calls using steering wheel controls with voice activation. You can load and display the address book with your contacts on the LCD screen.

Four zone automatic climate control ensures the driver, front and outer rear seat passengers enjoy personalised climate comfort in all seasons. Seventeen air diffusers then disperse warm or cool air as required, while air quality is maintained by adjustable air filters that help keep the cabin free of dust, pollen and odours. If the system detects excess smog levels outside the LS 600hL, it automatically switches to recirculation mode to stop polluted air entering the cabin.

Power operated sunshades on the rear window and doors help reduce glare and maintain cabin temperatures. The rear window sunshade automatically retracts when reverse gear is selected.
