The spirit of Fuji Speedway
It began with a maverick group of Lexus engineers who were passionate motorsport fanatics. They imagined a high performance beast that could tame racetracks, yet on city streets preserve the inner core of comfort and refinement for which Lexus is renowned.
Pursuing their dream, they worked autonomously, dedicating their spare time to this project. When Chief Engineer Yukihiko Yaguchi and his team unveiled the first prototype, the IS F was born.

The astonishing Lexus IS F CCF concept sports vehicle was launched in January 2010 at the Tokyo Auto Salon. It features carbon fibre panels manufactured in-house by Lexus, using the same processes developed for the LFA supercar.
