Touch the throttle and the high output, 2.5 litre V6 engine develops153kW of power at 6,400rpm and 252Nm of torque at 4,800rpm. You'll get the response you need, when you need it. Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence combined with direct injection helps ensure the IS 250 delivers first-rate performance and fuel efficiency at 9.1 litres per 100km1.

Sequential automatic transmission with paddle shifters

Gear control is right at your fingertips with a six speed sequential automatic transmission and paddle shifters. Whether you're in normal or sequential shifting mode, six gears can be selected using the paddle shifters onthe steering wheel, without taking your hands from the wheel.

Transmission that knows your style

Artificial Intelligence Shift Control intuitively anticipates and selects the best gear to suit the driver's style as well as the driving conditions. For superior climbing power on hills, it holds the right gear for longer to remove the annoyance of unnecessary downshifts. On steep descents it enhances engine braking by holding a lower gear, giving you greater control.

Intelligent suspension systems

The IS 250 is ready to conquer the road with front double-wishbone and rear multi-link suspension to enhance stability, responsiveness and handling.The IS 250 F Sport includes recalibrated Sports suspension for additional handling and steering stability.

Electric power steering

Unlike conventional power steering, the power steering on the IS 250 models uses electric energy. This means energy is consumed only when you turn the wheel, contributing to the vehicle's overall fuel economy. In addition, the Electric Power Steering in the IS 250 F Sport is tuned to give you a direct and sporting feel.
