Starry Starry Night

Starry Starry Night, Australia’s biggest fundraiser ball, is being held this Saturday November 22nd 2008 at Crown Palladium to raise funds for The Alannah and Madeline Foundation. Lexus of Blackburn is proud to be involved with this fantastic event as the major sponsor for the fourth consecutive year.

Over the past 10 years, Starry Starry Night has attracted hundreds of Australia’s most loved and recognised celebrities including Olympic greats, television, movie and sport stars all there helping to raise funds for The Alannah and Madeline Foundation.

The inaugural Starry Starry Night ball took place 11 years ago following the tragic death of Alannah and Madeline Mikac, aged six and three, who along with their mother and 32 other people were killed at Port Arthur. The Alannah and Madeline Foundation is a national charity keeping children safe from violence.

This year, Lexus of Blackburn will be providing a Lexus IS 250 Prestige as the major auction item to be sold to the winning bidder on the night. All proceeds go directly to The Alannah and Madeline Foundation in order to help continue their tireless work for the children who need it all across Australia.
